Incorporated in 2002, Caixa Capital Risc is a leading early-stage private institutional investor in Spain and Portugal. It invests in the early stages of innovative companies with high growth potential and helps them grow.
Caixa Capital Risc currently manages 11 companies and mutual funds in venture capital companies, with 76 companies in its portfolio and €112 million invested in three business areas: life sciences, information technology and industrial technology.
Caixa Capital Risc collaborates with the ”la Caixa” Foundation in CaixaImpulse Innovation. This programme supports biomedical research projects promoted by research centres, hospitals and universities to contribute to transferring research results to society and the market, and to foster the creation of new products, services and companies related to life sciences and health.
