CriteriaCaixa CEO Ángel Simón resigns as non-executive chairman of Aigües de Barcelona

Barcelona, 6 June 2024 – In order to fully dedicate himself to his position as CEO of CriteriaCaixa, Ángel Simón informed the Board of Directors of Aigües de Barcelona today that he is stepping down as non-executive chairman of the company, a position he has held since 2014.
CriteriaCaixa, the holding company that manages the business assets of the ”la Caixa” Banking Foundation, has been a shareholder of Aigües de Barcelona since 2014, where it holds a 15% stake and has two representatives on its board of directors.
