Criteria PE management

Criteria PE Management is CriteriaCaixa’s management company for investments in Private Equity funds within its alternative investments portfolio. The company forms part of CriteriaCaixa’s alternative assets investment strategy as manager of the assets of the ”la Caixa” Foundation, with a focus on sustainable, long-term value creation. It manages Criteria Investments, a Private Equity vehicle wholly owned by CriteriaCaixa and not marketed to third-party investors.

The company invests in a diversified portfolio of international Private Equity funds, selecting opportunities across global markets. It’s activity is based on a rigorous analysis of management companies, investment strategies and fund performance, together with ongoing monitoring of the portfolio.

Criteria PE Management integrates sustainability considerations into the analysis and monitoring of its investments, in line with CriteriaCaixa’s responsible investment principles. The company operates under the supervision of the Spanish National Securities Market Commission, CNMV, and has a governance and control framework based on transparency, rigour and prudent risk management.
