Francisco Reynés Massanet

Born in Palma de Mallorca, in 1963.

He is a trustee of the Caixa d’Estalvis i Pensions de Barcelona “la Caixa” Banking Foundation, First Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors and member of the Executive Committee of CriteriaCaixa, since April 2025.

Chairman and CEO of Naturgy since February 2018.

Industrial Engineer, specialising in mechanics, from the Polytechnic University of Barcelona, and MBA from IESE.

He began his professional career in the automotive sector linked first to the Volkswagen Group and then to Johnson Controls. Later he was general manager of the cement group Uniland. He was general manager of the industrial holding company Criteria CaixaCorp, from which position he carried out its IPO in October 2007. In 2009, he joined Abertis Infraestructuras, where he served as Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. From 2015, and until joining Naturgy, he was also Chairman of Cellnex Telecom, where he led its IPO.

In addition, he has been a member of different boards of directors in France, Spain, Brazil, Tunisia, UK, Argentina and Uruguay.
